This winter Off The Wall is keeping guests warm by exploring the interesting cultural and culinary heritage of the balmy, hot regions of the world. This month we’re orbiting BRAZIL – the land of bossa nova, Caipirinhas, gorgeous beaches, capoeira and delicious traditional food. Much of Brazil’s culture is derived from their strong colonial ties with Portugal and greatly influenced by African culture – which motivated not just Brazil’s food, but their music, dance, language, religion and ancient art too.
The organisers and chefs are really crushing on wholesome, honest food with big flavours, and dishes native to Brazil like mouth-watering feijoada, polenta and caruru made with fresh okra promise all that and more. Of course, they’ll be reinventing these and other dishes at the upcoming pop-up dinner and introducing these amazing culinary delights in their own special way. Paired up with a healthy amount of samba, bossa nova and Afrobeat; the 30th of July promises to be an incredible night.
