The world-renowned techno queen use to juggle studying a doctorate in dentistry with holding down a regular club night in Moscow while also working as a radio host and a music journalist. And now her latest project is all about fashion! In collaboration, Ray-Ban Kraviz has designed a pair of shades for their ‘Feel Your Beat’ campaign.
Nina‘s design has put a modern twist on a classic cat-eye silhouette. The shades have speckled blue and yellow frames contrasted with striking orange and green accents and with gradient coloured lens, these shades transform effortlessly from a day to night, a feature important to the jet-setting DJ. A day-to-night-to-day-again flexibility is crucial when she’s playing open-to-close.
Ray-Ban was so stoked with her design that they decided to rename the style “Nina” in honour her.
