Right, some of you out there may argue that this natural phenomenon is really something amazing to behold, but for us it is a very clear example of what our worst nightmares look like. A field full of spider webs with thousands of spiders just chilling there, waiting to chow you? Erm, HELL NO.
On a recent visit to a New Zealand park, a woman by the name of Tracey Morris captured this incredibly rare footage on camera. In the footage below you can see a spider web “blanket” that was around 30 metres long and covered in tiny spiders. She had this to say:
There was a bright glistening coming from the top of the mound. It looked almost like the hill was sparkling.
For me, it was being at the right place at the right time yesterday to see a phenomenon which is rarely seen.
Nope… nope… NOOOOOOOOOOPPPPPEEE!
