We’re loving the work that fellow Saffa Neil Blomkamp’s experimental new film studio, Oats Studios is putting out there in terms of free full feature content and it seems that he’s not holding back anything with the latest release called Zygote.
The short film Zygote stars Hollywood big timer, Dakota Fanning and centers around a story where she and two other people end up trapped in some really remote Arctic mining facility with a scary creature that ended up killing everyone else in the station, giving them very little chance of making it out alive.
It’s a full throttle offering that gets the pulse going from the very start:
That was so crazy AND the best thing about it was the fact that it’s all free. Unfortunately in order to make the next installment Oats Studios is relying on the public to crowdfund the second part, which is a real gamechanger in terms of how movies are made. We’re not that far from an economy where movies only get made if people actually want them to happen and feel that they’d like to pay upfront.
Get donating people – I want to see the next installment, sooner rather than later!
