MixedFeelings Artist Feature| Rrotik [Brazil]

This weekend Cape Town will get to watch the incredible rising electronic star Rrotik live at the next instalment of MixedFeelings. For those of you who don’t know, Rrotik the Brazillian bass legend currently making waves across the globe. In just two short years, rrotik has rapidly ascended through the ranks to become one of the fastest-rising acts in the electronic scene. Hailing from Brazil, the budding producer is making his mark worldwide on the strength of his diverse, wide-ranging sound and eclectic tastes, which all delve into house, tech house, techno and bass house aesthetics

His original productions and in-demand remixes ooze with a trademark style and genuine originality- from G-house stompers all the way through to deep, dark warehouse cuts. After departing the group Dirtyloud to pave his own sonic path as an artist, he has redefined and refined his sound returning to form with a clear and signature style. As a result, he has become one of the pioneering figures in Brazil’s burgeoning the low bass scene, which mixes thumpy, bass-centric styles with wobbly basslines – much like G-house and UK garage music.

Rrotik‘s discography consists of many original tracks and collaborations with the likes of Lliam Taylor (“Bounce Back”), Felix (“Boom, boom, boom ”), Latroit (“Get up Everybody!”); and remixes for Destructo (“Renegade – rrotik Remix”), Treasure Fingers (“MYNE – rrotik Remix – Treasure Fingers”) and Chris Lake & Anna Lunoe (“Stomper – rrotik Remix”). The incredibly talented producer has also released on top independent imprints and major record labels in electronic including Armada Music, Fool’s Gold, Dim Mak, Mad Decent, Insomniac, Sony, Ultra Music, Warner and more.

And it doesnt stop there – his extensive list of supporters includes mega names like Claude VonStroke, Rezz, David Guetta, Oliver Heldens, AC Slater, Afrojack and Martin Garrix – who has placed and played Rrotik’s tracks on his radio show, live sets and Spotify playlists numerous times with media publication, Dancing Astronaut, dubbing him “a talent to watch.”

And watch this talent you definitely can at this month’s MixedFeelings shakedown. Be sure to catch Rrotik live in Cape Town at MixedFeelings Ft. Rrotik (BRA) this weekend. Join the event page for more information and purchase your ticket here.
