Mix of the Day | MyCityByNight Exclusive | Live Mix by Keda

After living in Melbourne and becoming apart of the underground music scene there, KEDA began to experience a club culture very different from anything he had experienced before. Smaller venues, intimate crowds and a club sound environment orientated around dispersing sound across the dance floor, instead of the usual overly loud one directional sound system placed in front of the DJ booth, created a special platform for a more socially engaging musical experience.

Having lived in what is know as the ‘Southside’ of Melbourne, a region whose underground music scene is synonymous with micro-house and minimal techno, he began to mold his ear to the new environment and soon learned to love the simple, yet immensely intricate, nature of this style of techno. Following this adaption, Keda’s aim is to resemble the same vibe but simultaneously inject more groove into this minimalist environment.

This environment was something that he grew to love, and Keda was created to pay homage to it.

Rumoured to have the blue-prints for Krang’s TechnoDrome, stolen straight from Dimension X, he’s the type of guy who exudes so much coolness that he adds whole countries on Facebook at one time instead of just people.
Always up for a party and a Tequila shot or two this is the guy who we always call first, both before and after a night out…
