#ME014 – @Colourblindsound

About Colourblind:

Colourblind’s knack for connecting with the deeper side of dance music has seen him entrancing audiences with performances that range from his own psychedelic brand of mid-tempo creephouse™, to audacious closing sets that oscillate between the obscure and the anthemic.

A relative newcomer in the scene, Colourblind as already racked up some impressive bookings and has been endorsed by some of the local industry’s finest, creating an ever-expanding audience for his hypno-melodic sound that demonstrates a unique approach to house and techno.

About The Mix:

I created this mix for the lovely crew from the Javanesia stage at Afrikaburn, and debuted it as a closing set at Decompression. It’s a progressive mix of melodic house and a bit of deep and colourful techno that really picks up steam in the second act. Lots of personal favourites mixed with a handful of new bangers that I’m really enjoying dancing to at the moment.

Rumoured to have the blue-prints for Krang's TechnoDrome, stolen straight from Dimension X, he’s the type of guy who exudes so much coolness that he adds whole countries on Facebook at one time instead of just people. Always up for a party and a Tequila shot or two this is the guy who we always call first, both before and after a night out…
