Make-Believe’s Train Party is back after a 3-year hiatus

If you’re looking for something special to do in November, look no further than Make Believe’s intimate train party. Make-Believe have always been known for their epic and outlandish intimate experiences spread out across the Western Cape landscape. It’s been 3 years since Make Believe embarked on an unforgettable journey from Cape Town station to a beautiful venue in the Winelands, all while being transformed from your normal train coach into mobile musical carriages. What makes this event more fun is that your carriages will be turned into mobile discos with a DJ set up for the departure and return trips.

It’s with great excitement that Make-Believe returns with this onboard journey along the tracks to one of Cape Town’s favourite music and food institutions, the Brass Bell situated in the heart of Kalk Bay a few steps off the station itself.

As usual, the team at Make Believe have kept the experience limited and very intimate. With only 500 guests in attendance, this will sell out like previous events as the demand for tickets is incredibly high. Once at the Brass Bell, you’ll experience no less than 5 electronic music acts within this live music venue while the food menu will be running all night with a fully stocked bar throughout the day. Make-Believe will only be selling 6-packs of beer & cider & tequila shots on the train to & from The Brass Bell (who will be servicing the event as a separate entity).

We have got word of the FIRST TWO LIVE acts: Reinhardt Buhr and Lectric Licks

Reinhardt needs no introduction so we’ll just leave this here:

Lectric Licks is another live act that really brings Cape Town dance floors to life. Merging electronic music with various instruments including the guitar, key and synth instruments providing the dancers space to really let loose and enjoy themselves.

Until you ride the Make-Believe party train you’ve not yet experienced an event that peaks from START to FINISH!

This is how it works:
-an 8-carriage train fitted with sound-rig, centralized dj and a mini-bar on each end will take us along the coastal, seaside-meandering southern line route passing Muizenberg, St James and arriving to a stop at Kalk Bay Station.
