If you love food as much I do, you’ll know how amazing Madame Zingara is. This isn’t your normal dinner and a show, The Theatre of Dreams is truly one of the most magical experiences you’ll ever have. Madame Zingara makes its return home to Cape Town with the brand new 2013 Miracle Tour.
The Madame is back in Cape Town after completely selling out an entire year-long tour and now for the first time ever Madame Zingara will be hosted by one of the city’s very own crown jewels, the V&A Waterfront.
Richard Griffin, producer and MD of the Madame Zingara dinner theatre production had this to say:
“It is a very great honour to have secured one of South Africa’s premier destinations,”, “and, after over 180 000 standing ovations since the start of The Miracle Tour, I believe that this show is truly one of Madame Zingara’s masterpieces and possibly our best yet.”
As this will be Madame Zingara’s last visit to the Mother City for some time (I’m already sobbing and it’s only just kicked off), The Miracle Tour is a specially created and evolving tale; a unique re-energised body of work, which will see the introduction and recycling of acts throughout the run.
Created and directed by the formidable trio of Richard Griffin, Craig Leo and Valentina Love, the unique Miracle Tour showcases the very best in local and international talent. Some of these performers include: the masters of the ancient Icarian games from Asia, the mesmerising triple strength act from Fort Lauderdale and, a first for South Africa, The Grouchos from Spain and Argentina.
If you’d dig a little bit of background to the what it’s all about, check out the last time MyCityByNight went. We gave away a dinner with Kreg & I to 2 lucky guests, who got to spend the evening with us at dinner theatre – things got rather crazy. Expect drama, suspense and a delectable four course meal prepared by gourmet chefs.
The show opened on Wednesday the 16th and runs nightly from Tuesday to Saturday (for a few months depending on demand). Tickets range from R385 – R475. For more information contact 0861 623 263 or visit:
