Last year Kreg went to Love Sucks in the hope that he could find the mooiness of his dreams in amongst the 100’s of single hotties out there. Unfortunately he’s still single.
This year 5FM and Vuzu TV’s have ensured that Love Sucks returns as a celebration to help you unlock love, or at the very least make sure you have a good laugh on Valentine’s Day. Love Sucks is the a different but epically cool way to celebrate Valentine’s Day – whether you’re single or not. Partygoers can expect a night of unforgettable 5FM-style entertainment with a sassy, loved-up edge – kissing booths designed to raise money for 5FM’s Youngblood 5 charities, blind dating sessions hosted by 5FM and Vuzu TV personalities and the hottest dancefloor tunes as the 5FM DJs take to the decks.
5FM’s Grant Nash (MCing), DJ Milkshake, Angela Guastella, Roger Goode and Jon Savage will entertain crowds in Cape Town. Jozi gets Gareth Cliff (MCing), Poppy Ntshongwana, Anele Mdoda, Nicole da Silva and DJ Euphonik as entertainment to add to all the possibility of love. So what’s the dresscode? Well…”Smart with slippers” is the brief we’ve received. So get out your best pair of comfy’s to accompany your sexy.
Entrance to Love Sucks is free if you register, otherwise entrance at the door costs only R50 per person and the money goes to a cause supported by 5FM’s CSI campaign, Youngblood5. Registering for Love Sucks is simple and easy. SMS your name, surname, age and city you live in to 33345 at a cost of R1.50 and 5FM will notify you if you qualify to play the ‘lock and key’ game where singletons can possibly find their future Mr or Ms Right. Whatever your love persuasion (whether you’re a boy who likes girls, a girl who likes boys, a boy who likes boys, a girl who likes girls, a boy who likes boys and girls or a girl who likes boys and girls) you’ll get a random lock or key at the door. Find your love match and you could win VIP access, awesome prizes and who knows, maybe that person’s heart…
Love Sucks takes place on February 14th at the Arena Royale in Broadacres, Joburg and Dragon Room, 84 Harrington Street, in Cape Town. Doors open at 7pm.
