DEAN FUEL:::::::::

DJ | Producer
based in Cape Town, South Africa

One of Cape Town’s biggest electronic exports, DEAN FUEL is part of South Africa’s DJ super-elite: owing longevity & stratospheric career to intuitive performances that inspire, connect & elevate those around him. Igniting dancefloors with passion, energy, and love for music & the craft of DJing (always managing to drop “the right track, at the right time”) – there’s no denying, Dean was born to do this!

Big releases on international labels, and world-class DJ mixes allowed rapid ascension into the highest ranks of his home country, where he continues to evolve and break new ground, shaping the scene he is so closely linked to. Having created a legacy of successes, constantly touring and playing to tens of thousands of fans – Dean continues to move forwards… pushing the envelope of electronic music further in a life solely dedicated to music!

Believing in the power of music to bring people together, his distinctive style is built on versatility. Once a self-confessed vinyl junkie, DEAN FUEL fuses an intercontinental blend of genres — from underground techno, and the deeper sounds of house & tech, through to peak time electro, progressive & even trance! Incorporating a deeper understanding of DJing, and his instinctive ability to read a crowd, Dean’s sets take you on a journey – a full spectrum of sound!

DANALOG:::::::::

Born in Israel, raised in Zimbabwe, and now based in Cape Town, Digital musician Daniel Lobel, otherwise known as Danalog pulls on his diverse roots to carve a sound portfolio that touches on all different moods and styles. Purveying a sound as unique as himself, flirting with the fusion of house and techno with unmistakable skill and style.

As a DJ for the last 12 years, Danalog is no stranger to the dancefloor and has performed at some of SA’s biggest music festivals; Rocking The Daisies, CTEMF, Synergy, Earthdance and Kinky Disco to name a few. He also throws down regular nights at some of Cape Town’s hottest clubs and events.
With a solid motto of ‘innovate don’t imitate’, you can always expect Danalog to deliver something special and fresh.

MATTHEW LOOTS:::::::::

Matthew started out as one of Cape Town’s youngest circuit DJs at 16, playing at clubs such as Unity, Pure, Detour, 55 and Stylish Affair.
Since then he has immersed himself in the music industry and grown from a DJ into a musician, into an established music producer. His productions have been signed to labels around the world (including Kolour, Myna and Lost My Dog) and have received support from the likes of Sasha, Danny Tenaglia, Maceo Plex, Quentin Harris,Mousse T, and Derrick Carter amongst others as well as enjoying top 10 chart success on various download sites. More recently he has been releasing locally on Triplefire Records.

His passion for production has led him to manage digital dance labels More Music and Southbound Recordings. Having founded the live electronic act BangBang alongside co-producer Matt Prehn and vocalist Ruegroove, he has vast experience in live performance in the context of dance, having played across the country with this act being the bassist/guitarist and main melody-maker. Few DJs rival his all-round experience of the industry. He has also been very active as a live engineer around the country’s venues and, in the studio, has mixed and mastered numerous acts across the country.

Rumoured to have the blue-prints for Krang's TechnoDrome, stolen straight from Dimension X, he’s the type of guy who exudes so much coolness that he adds whole countries on Facebook at one time instead of just people. Always up for a party and a Tequila shot or two this is the guy who we always call first, both before and after a night out…
