#LiveBetter at The Color Run with a collaboration of Cape Town’s finest musical talents
Cape Town is host of the biggest installment of The Color Run 2016, where the happiest 5k on the planet will take over Green Point on Saturday, 12 November. This event promises to be nothing short of spectacular, bringing together the diverse communities of the Mother City in celebration of all things Cape Town.
Headline sponsor, Capitec Bank, brings to Cape Town the first collaborative performance with a selection of the city’s finest local talents. Hitting The Color Run stage is gents; local crooner, Jimmy Nevis; talented new kids on the block, Acoustic Element who are an eclectic instrumental duo and world champion dancer and choreographer Blake Williams.
“We want to encourage all Capetonians to show us what living better means to them, by joining us at The Color Run. The event is set to bring people of different cultures together, to celebrate diversity and living better together,” says Francois Viviers Exec: Marketing & Communications Capitec Bank.
What to expect at the event:
Color runners can receive free selfie prints. All you have to do is use #LiveBetter on Twitter or Instagram and visit the Capitec stand to collect your print. Color runners are encouraged to use the Capitec Magnetic Wall as a background to get creative and snapping.
Capture your happiness second by second. Color runners can experience a slow motion booth in the Festival Zone and have a chance to take a 15 second super slow motion video that will be uploaded to Facebook straight away. Check https://www.facebook.com/SelfieBoxSloMo to see past events.
For runners who would like to relax and enjoy the experience, there will be a Capitec Chill Zone where you can put your feet up and #LiveBetter!
This is set to be a day that brings together all of the Mother City’s wonderful diverse communities wanting to #LiveBetter and join in the celebration of all things Cape Town. This year’s event is sure to amaze in entertainment, featuring a never-done-before collaborative performance from some of Cape Town’s local gents.
