Jim Jefferies- Alcoholocaust live in South Africa

As you all know we consider ourselves to be comics in our own right here at MyCityByNight, which is why we often get more than amped when we get to laugh at other people (guilt free).  This April both Jozi and Cape Town can do just that, by going to check out World renowned Aussie comedian Jim Jefferies during his Alcoholocast 2011 Tour.

This particular funny man, is not scared to take on religion and stupid people and does a pretty good job of it- with 5 Edinburgh Fringe sell-out shows, numerous TV appearances, an HBO hour-long comedy special and numerous shows around the globe, South Africa is in for a real treat. If you dont believe, watch the following clip from one of his shows where Jim talks about one of our favourite topics… Sluts (NSFW).

Jim Jeffries will perform at The Mandela Theatre in Jozi on the 7th & 9th April with a Cape Town show on the 5th of April at the CTICC.

Tickets available through Computicket.

This is what the show promo blurb had to say about the Jim Jeffries show:

‘Alcoholocaust’ includes some of Jim’s favourite wild antics over the past year and as always Jim’s material is set in reality, which is what provides him with his trademark brutally frank style. You will also hear about a hilarious and often touching true story about his friend’s severely disabled brother plus Jim’s traditional pet hates – religion & idiots. – right so not for the faint-hearted…

We might just have a little competition for all you peeps- keep those eyes peeled!

Jim can currently be seen as the face of Comedy Central UK’s

1’s ‘Premier League All-Stars’ (playing for Fulham) and Paramount’s
