It’s the Cellar Rats Annual Spring Wine Festival

We are quite lucky to blessed with a plethora of choices when it comes to amazing wine down in Cape Town, which is why we always try to promote those that are trying keep the wine culture alive and kicking in the rest of SA. It’s almost time for the Cellar Rats ANNUAL SPRING WINE FESTIVAL which is scheduled for 4th SEPTEMBER 2011. This event is held in aid of the Woodland School in Magaliesberg so advocates responsible drinking while still keeping the event filled with fun.

This Spring the emphasis is on tasting some of South Africa’s best wines in a tranquil outdoor setting! There will be more than 100 producers who will present in excess of 600 wines for the adult tasters enjoyment. This is a family festival, with supervised entertainment for children whilst the parents relax and enjoy the wines in the countryside.

It is a relaxing, fun family day and great value with over 600 wines available for tasting (and designated drivers get in free).

We’ll pop up more details closer to the time, but in the mean time you can check out-
