The Spoken Word

Its with a warm heart that we delve into the Garden Route and find gems, with the first being a piece about someone who has prospered as an entity promoting growth as healing… SUB. Those given the opportunity to spend time with him in Cape Town, in the Garden Route & now in Johannesburg only speak well of the humble individual with words of wisdom and enlightenment being shared. A radiance is quite apparent during SUB’s sets regardless of the sound profile chosen… A journey to share is there for us all and the rest of SA welcomes his return on every visit.

The Scoop

1) Describe Yourself in 3 words

Terence: Hyperactive… Confused… Hard-Working.

2) Fave release of all time

Terence: I would have to say Mulitnominal – Morten Granau.

3) Artist to watch out for

4) Advice to up n comers and the dreamers

Terence: My advice is just play what you wanna play, show your message, so many DJ’s nowadays are djing to impress the other DJ’s not playing for there crowds they all trying to prove something… I don’t know… like show how badass they are, but in doing that they not giving there audience there full attention they not doing it for the people they doing it for themselves.

5) What can we expect from Sub? What do you have planned?

Terence: This year I’m going to try focus on production more,  have a few events in doing coming up and I don’t know… just go jam tunes where people will allow me to jam my tunes haha!!!
