Tupac was one of my favourite rappers while growing up in Athlone in the 90’s and was one of those artists that polarised the public because of his Thug Life mantra, acting as a voice for all of those that came up from the streets. His death is still shrouded in mystery, which is why the brand new movie about his life called “All Eyez On Me” is such an interesting prospect.
The movie is set for release later this year and features the likes of Demetrius Shipp, Jr. (Tupac Shakur), Danai Gurira (Afeni Shakur), Kat Graham (Jada Pinkett), Dominic L. Santana (Suge Knight), Jamal Woolard (Biggie Smalls), Annie Ilonzeh (Kidada Jones), Lauren Cohan (Lelia Steinberg), Grace Gibson (Faith Evans), and Harold House Moore (Dr Dre) in a power ensemble cast.
