Hello Pretty at The Foundry

Some of you may know me as the better(looking) half of Ricky Bynight. For those of you who don’t, please be aware that he got lucky. When I recently heard about a kiff market happening in Cape Town, hosted by a truly amazing online shopping site, I stole the laptop. This is my story:

Hello Pretty has been around for a few months now and is the epitome of all things great: really awesome stuff/not having to get off your couch. They feature a ton of local designers, vintage traders, home décor peeps and random cool crap that’ll make you look just trendy enough, without being mistaken for a hipster.

The site is easy to navigate and caters for everybody. It’s also run by three rad people who want to make your life easier- so much so, that they’re bringing Hello Pretty to the Foundry.

Here’s what you need to know:

The market takes place on Monday 17th December (it’s a public holiday, so hangovers are welcome!). 40+ Hello Pretty traders will be on site, including various food vendors and booze (craft beer- because this is Cape Town, bitches). Festivities begin at 10am out at the Woodstock Foundry.

So, if you’re failing at Christmas gifts, fear no more! Everything you need under one roof, whimsically decorated with bunting. Win.

But wait! There’s more! If you RSVP on the Hello Pretty Facebook page (https://www.facebook.com/events/409287419140771/) you automatically go into a draw to win a selection of stuff from their designers worth R1100. And who doesn’t love free stuff?

As Capetonians, we love two things: our mountain and our markets. This one promises to be exceptional. So RSVP, gather your mates and bring cash. See you there!

Staceybyday, out.
