Life is Precious came to life after our very successful first Comedy Fundraiser evening where we raised over R20, 000 for the Groote Schuur Hospital Haematology Department. Our mission is to help the sick, destitute and anyone in need. The inspiration behind Life is Precious is Ferida Dawray, meaning precious. She was a woman of strength and faith who lived her life putting others first. Ferida passed away within a year after being diagnosed with a very rare cancer. Taking the baton from her, her daughter and organiser Hajirah Dawray hosts annual fundraisers in her honour. Life is Precious is about hope and giving comfort and support to those facing challenges and the families that support them.
Join like minded people for an evening of relaxation, laughter and treats in support of this worthy cause.
