The long wait for the release of Haezer’s latest 5-track EP entitled Gold Plated Frequencies is nearly over and on the 2nd of December, he’ll be dropping the EP, followed by a launched party at Sideshow in Cape Town later in the month. The release comes exactly a year after his last EP “The Wrong Kid Died” and if the last bit of studio work was anything to go by, we’re in for a real treat.
On the 18th of December HAEZER will not only perform the EP for the first time to Cape Town audiences, but he will also be doing his first ever live visual show – right in front of his hometown crowd. ‘GOLD PLATED’ will see HAEZER performing on a stage set up uniquely designed for him with lighting and visual effects teams from Golden Circle, Thinking, Dark Room Contemporary and Cape Lasers who have tailor made the production to his music and of course, a few surprises are in store. Here’s what Haezer had to say:
“Gold Plated & Live is a showcase of my current productions and a few of my favourite older productions reworked specially for the stage. The show focuses on building the visuals, lighting and stage design around the music to give the audience a unique, unforgettable experience, without losing the ‘human’ element of my shows. So you can still be sure I’ll be jamming on stage as always, but this time with a personalized setup and the most bad ass bass.”
So there we go, one massive rave right before Christmas on the 18th of December at THE SIDESHOW in Cape Town city bowl, with two dance floors featuring support acts Tommy Gun, Desert Heads, Rudeone, Battle Beyond The Stars, Sideshow, At Peace and many more. Tickets are on sale via WEBTICKETS. Early bird R80, pre-sold R100 and at the door for R120.
