This season, residents and tourists alike got to enjoy three parties (entrance free) at one of Cape Town’s most desirable destinations featuring music form global house music sensations: Matthias Meyer (Watergate Records, GER), Manuel Tur (Freerange Records, GER), Volen Sentir (Shanti Radio Moscow, RUS) and this weekend, for their fourth and final complimentary celebration, Tim Engelhardt, all the way from Germany, will take the stage for an unforgettable evening of music and luxury!
As one of Cologne’s brightest stars on the rise, Tim Engelhardt released his very first record when he was just 14 years old and has since blossomed into one of the industry’s most exciting new talents. Having been inspired by Robert Babicz early in his career, Tim’s music clearly reflects his passion for synthesizers with an emotive sound profile.
He has quickly amassed a strong portfolio with outings on labels such as Traum Schallplatten, WIR, Babiczstyle, Amuse Gueule, Ostwind Records, Popart Music, Playmusic Productions, Parquet Recordings, Manual Music and Steve Bug’s iconic Poker Flat Recordings– a stellar amount of label royalty. Now when he graces The Lab NYC he’ll present his live show that reveals more of his impressive talents.
Enter a world of discreet escapism, casual decadence and bare-footed opulence at Grand Africa Café & Beach this Saturday 8 February, for their last complimentary party featuring international headline act, Tim Engelhardt (Pokerflat, GER) supported by local stars, JanuaryOne, Michael Kennedy and Huga Gravito.
