With exactly 100 days to go until the release, Director Jon Favreau tweet released a new trailer for the remake of the Disney classic. The first full-length trailer for the live-action remake of The Lion King was released back in November 2018.
The new trailer gives fans a glimpse of Scar, voiced by Chiwetel Ejiofor, without the dark mane and glowing green eyes from the animated version and people are kind of disappointed. After the release of the new trailer, people took to Twitter to express their dismay at Scar’s character design. Take a look at some of the reactions below.

Little disappointed in the character designs of #TheLionKing remake, so I did a quick sketch of #Scar using a ref of a real lion as a base, but blending in his silhouette and distinct features. https://t.co/OjTzQuZj3U pic.twitter.com/WjOC4MgW28

The problem that I have with #TheLionKing trailer is that the movie is so photoreal that I think it may throw some audiences off, even with them keeping the more "cartoon-y" elements like "I Just Can't Wait to Be King" and Timon and Pumbaa's Lion Sleeps Tonight moments.
