Google is launching a new feature on Maps. The feature uses augmented reality and displays all it’s icons across your surrounds from directional arrows to your destination pin.
The feature has been available for a while in beta on the company’s Pixel phones and now it’s expanding to Android and IOS. The new feature will currently only be available for walking directions.
The augmented reality feature, called Live View, has been launching in beta for iPhones and Android – Google began the rollout on August 8 and if you’re not seeing it yet then our phone likely hasn’t received the update yet.
