This summer, starting 29 November 2015, South Africa’s premier beach club and restaurant – Shimmy Beach Club – plays host to ten exclusive Submerged Sunday events. The events are headlined by Goldfish, who will be supported by a host of internationally acclaimed artists from around the globe including Stimming on the opening night this Sunday.
Classically trained Jazz musicians David Poole and Dominic Peters AKA Goldfish infuse live instruments and vocals into their performances, creating celebrated combinations of organic and electronic music. From the same vein of electronic acts like Groove Armada, Basement Jaxx, Soul II Soul and Massive Attack, their music blends House sounds with Jazz and African beats.
Shimmy Beach Club balances the style of international party life and the laid-back atmosphere of Cape Town, making it a world-class venue rivaling the likes of Monaco and Ibiza’s beach club scenes.
