1) Six-Gun Braai Festival at Fort Wynyard

The Six Gun Braai Festival, hosted by The Local Foodtruck Market team kicks off at midday on Heritage Day at Fort Wynyard in Green Point. Think gourmet braai delights, including vegetarian & halaal options, live entertainment, craft beer, wine tasting, a braai competition, 360 deg views of the Mother City, bunker tours, kiddies entertainment & and so much more.

Boschendal Wine Estate, the second oldest wine farm in South Africa, will be inviting guests to celebrate South African history with their Farm Feast this Heritage Day. The event will feature live music, activities throughout the day for the kids with a market and food stalls. The estate’s beauty will be on show as the guests are invited to enjoy a complimentary bottle of wine included in your ticket price while enjoying the finest meals at their world-famous restaurant.

Their Heritage Day event will run from 12 pm – 5 pm with food stalls running from 1 pm – 3 pm, so make sure you get in on the action and purchase your tickets right here.

4) Watch the Rugby World Cup at La Bottega in Woodstock
