Just when you thought things couldn’t get any worse, America has gifted us with a movie more ridiculous than Beverley Hills Chihuahua 3 called Zombeavers. If you’re going to make a movie about Zombie Beavers you’re clearly targeting one particular part of the global population… teenage boys – who, along with the guys here at MyCityByNight will be unbelievably entertained by terrible dialougue, mooiness and what seems like it’s literally a script full of sexual innuendos.
The producers of Cabin Fever, The Ring and American Pie have reunited to bring us what is described as a horror comedy “delight”, which has just made its debut at the Berlin Film Festival. The gist of the story is that there are some scantily clad girls who go on holiday to a riverside cabin where they encounter mutant zombie beavers, all the while having to act through ridiculous bits of sexually charged innuendos in the plot like the following gem:
While the girls chat to a “beaver hunter” (seriously) armed with a gun, this exchange takes place –
“We’re looking for beavers,”
-say the girls
“Well, hell, ain’t we all.”
-is the response from the beaver hunter.
Zombeavers is probably not going to be a candidate for a Best Motion Picture Oscar, but it does look really good for a laugh when you’re in no mood to venture from your couch.
