Last month we had a look at a preview trailer for PES13 and we were honestly blown away. Never one to be outdone by it’s flashier cousin, the FIFA13 playable demo was released yesterday for download accompanied by the trailer first seen at Gamescom. This demo features just a smidgen of the goodness expected from FIFA13 which is being released at the end of this month.
The playable teams featured in the demo are AC Milan, Arsenal, Borussia Dortmund, Juventus and Manchester City (nobody that tickles my fancy in that group). The game features a new “attacking intelligence” that allows your cpu players to analyze space and alter their attacking runs to better capitalize on openings in the defense as well as upgrades to the first touch system. The career mode has also been tweaked to allow gamers to manage international sides once they have a big enough rep. There have been many reports of an incredibly buggy experience from the demo- here’s hoping they get it sorted before the launch.
The game will be released for the PlayStation 3, Xbox 360, Wii U, Wii, PlayStation 2, PlayStation Portable, PlayStation Vita, Nintendo 3DS, iOS and Microsoft Windows platforms.
Watch the trailer below (still doesn’t look as slick as PES)…
