The Grand Slam champions will face off at 8 PM on February 7, 2020, at the Cape Town Stadium to raise funds for education in Africa. Federer and Nadal will aim to set a world record for the most attendees at a tennis match.
The current attendance record for a tennis match is at 35 681. The record was set at an exhibition game in Brussels between Belgian Kim Clijsters and Serena Williams in 2010. Cape Town Stadium has a capacity of 55 000 and that’s where Nadal and Federer are hoping to break the record – and it looks like they just did!
