FA Cup 4th Round results & 5th Round Draw

Everton 1-1 Chelsea
Swansea 1-2 Leyton Orient
Aston Villa 3-1 Blackburn
Sheffield Wednesday 4-1 Hereford
Stevenage 1-2 Reading
Burnley 3-1 Burton Albion
Bolton 0-0 Wigan
Watford 0-1 Brighton
Birmingham 3-2 Coventry
Torquay 0-1 Crawley Town
Sunderland 1-2 Manchester United

The weekend’s FA Cup fixtures didnt produce many shocks other than Birmingham getting knocked out by Coventry. The Chelsea vs Everton was unbelievably boring with Everton managing to keep the current Premier League Champions scoreless until half time. Saha scored in the second half with Chelsea squeezing out a 1 all draw thanks to a goal from Kalou  in the 75th minute.

As always Manchester United left it until late to show their real class. At Half time they were down 1-0 at Southamton and after a bit of hairdryer treatment from Sir Alex Ferguson re-emerged after the break to win the game with goals from Owen in the 65th and Hernandez aka Chicharito (the little pea) in the 74th minute. At least the game was entertaining.

The 5th Round draw has served up some interesting ties, which include a visit to Old Trafford for lower division Crawley Town… Awesome for this clubs finances (shared advertising payment) and not so awesome for the team (Manchester United’s homeground- the Theatre of Dreams).
