ERA presents CHRISTIAN TIGER SCHOOL – 2nd July [First Thursday]

A night of advanced electronic music curated by Christian Tiger School, every First Thursday at Era.

Christian Tiger School (Luc Veermeer & Sebastiano Zanasi) are Electronic Producers from Cape Town. Coming together for a love of Electronic music and Hip Hop, the pair found themselves experimenting in production early in 2011 leading to their debut album Third Floor in 2012 quickly establishing the pair as artists to watch.

At 23 the pair have grown to be dominant on the South African Electronic music circuit frequenting the festival and club scene as well as opening for a host of touring acts including Pet Shop Boys, Little Dragon & Hudson Mohawke. 2013 saw them take on their first U.S. visit where they collaborated with Neo Soul singer Bilal & Queens Rap outfit – Worlds Fair receiving acclaim from Complex Magazine, Vibe & Potholes In My Blog. The past few years has seen them perform at SXSW (USA), Primavera Sound (Spain) and CMJ (USA) earned a residency at Cape Town’s premiere club ERA & signed to New York Based record label Tommy Boy Entertainment.

Their sophomore album Chrome Tapes has been released with its singles receiving positive reviews from Vice’s Thump, SPIN & Xlr8r.
