One hour. One day a year. All lights off. From 8:30pm to 9:30pm your local time on the 31st of March. Thats it. Simple. BE APART OF IT!
In this one hour, Earth Hour 2010, we can all make a huge impact by showing our support for and raise awareness for the fight against Climate Change. Spend it with family or friends. Take a nap. Go outside and stargaze. Its just one hour. You can do it. Spread the word and invite everyone! Take this simple step. Be the change you wish to see in the world.
This is a seriously great initiative and I think everyone should get involved in some way. It really isn’t hard and one hour of your life could make a huge difference. Even Global landmarks such as the Golden Gate Bridge in San Francisco, Rome’s Colosseum and the Coca Cola billboard in Times Square (YES, even Time Square), all stood in darkness, as symbols of hope for a cause that grows more urgent by the hour.
Earth Hour is a message of hope and a message of action. Everyone can make a difference.
Become aware, play your part!
