Dreamteam at uShaka this weekend


With summer passing and winter rolling in, most of South Africa is feeling the chill while Durban’s uShaka are making sure you stay warm with tons of entertainment in May to keep that smile on your dial!

Join enthusiastic uShakanites as they swim, splash and party in our pool to popular South African performers – DreamTeam, DJ Tira and Brent Harris & Thee Jam – who will be heating things up at Wet ‘n Wild with their festive vibes on Saturday, May 30th from 9am till 5pm, brought to you by uShaka Marine World, Afrotainment and Durban Tourism.

DreamTeam are a local Durban hip hop group that came together in 2011 and is made up of Trevor Sineke (Trey), Lusaso Ngcobo (Saso) and Mthoko Mkhathini (Dash). They are known for their singles “Ask Enibhadi” and “Tsekede” and many others and have also had the opportunity of being the opening act for international rap stars such as Kendrick Lamar and Big Sean.

For fans of DJ Tira, who has become a popular name amongst South Africans for his house music that can be found emanating through clubs and over the radio waves, can expect a day filled with non-stop partying and fun all round.

Then for the pop lovers and rock ‘n rollers, catch the epic Brent Harris & Thee Jam taking to the Wet ‘n Wild stage. Harris is known for being the founding member and drummer for South African band “Just Jinjer”. He simultaneously pursued his solo career – that of Brent Harris & Thee Jam –  and has made his mark on the music scene by showcasing his raspy voice and drumming talent.  Fans will also know him for his work as drummer and percussionist on 4 albums with Lucky Dube, Soweto String Quartet, Lebo M, Township House Band, as well as the Lion King; Trailor and The Departed soundtracks.
