Day of the Dead – margaritas and macabre merriment at Perron

Yes please – one of our absolute favourite Mexican restaurants, Perron is going to be celebrating the Day Of The Dead in style. Hombres! Hermanos! It’s time to get excited. It’s time to dust off your sombreros. Your face paint. Your dancin’ shoes!

The Day Of The Dead is generally quite revered in South America, but locally it means an opportunity to drink margaritas and partake in macabre merriment. Think mariachi bands and face painting, soaking up some sun, smelling the marigolds, making new friends over tacos and tequila, and remembering old friends and family in a truly mexican way.

They’ll be setting up large communal tables outside – first come first serve, with booking for tables inside.
The kitchen will be cookin’ from 12pm – 7pm.
The make up artist will be creating from 12pm.
The band will be mariachi-ing from 1pm.

The coronas will be cold (and 6 for the price of 5 – you heard right). Prizes for the best dressed and the best rock-out-dance-genius. We’re taking this having fun thing seriously. So should you.
