Fokofpolisiekar have become known for their explosive live performances and raw on-stage energy. Controversial and ever-questioning in their lyrics as well as their lifestyle, the band has generated much controversy in the South African media – that being said, Fokof have undoubtedly if not almost singlehandedly shaped the South African alternative scene.

The band return to the breathtaking mountain backdrop of Kirstenbosch National Botanical Gardens on the 10th of February to perform live at Kirstenbosch’s monthly sunset concert. Gates to the event area open at 16h00 – so after what we know will be an unforgettable experience at Saggy Stone festival, we make our way back to the Mother City [picnic baskets in hand] during the early afternoon to wrap up our live music experience in style.

Follow Kirstenbosch Summer Sunset Concerts for more information. Tickets available here.
