For those who aren’t in the know the Cape Town Military Tattoo is the premier military event of the year open to the public and visitors of Cape Town. They use it as a showcase for all of the training that they’ve undertaken during the year and the event is a chance to get the family out to one of the most picturesque parts of the city (which part isn’t great to look at?!!) for an unforgettable evening.
The Cape Town Military Tattoo takes place for just a few evenings in the beginning of November each year and is an opportunity to take in military displays and some really great music provided by those that are sworn to serve and protect us, should things ever get real. It’s loud, colourful and should leave you feeling secure in the fact that if we ever were invaded by another country we’d be able to march them into submission (although I’m sure, they would be able to hold their own in a real fight).
The city’s premier military event, which is open to the public and visitors to the beautiful Mother City, Cape Town is going to be awesome evening out for sure.
