The late rapper Christopher Wallace, better known as Notorious B.I.G was recently commemorated in New York City when the Brooklyn City Council decided to rename a street after him in the neighbourhood he grew up in.

The corner of St. James Place and Fulton Street in Brooklyn is now known as Christopher “Notorious B.I.G.” Wallace Way. Notorious B.I.G. grew up on St. James Place in Bedford-Stuyvesant. The late artist’s family attended the unveiling along with singer Faith Evans who was once married to Biggie.
