Break a Guinness World Record in Aid of the Randburg, SPCA at the Madhatter’s Picnic on 22 April.

All is not quite what it seems as a White Rabbit, a Mad Hatter and a little girl called Alice host a most unusual tea party. Young and old are invited to put on their maddest hat and join the Mad Hatters’ Tea Party and set a Guinness World Record for the most people dressed as characters from Alice in Wonderland, in one place. The Mad Hatters’ Tea Party offers a trip down the Rabbit Hole, for the whole family. “Off with their Heads!” can be heard across Riversands Farm Village with Human Chess, a Pritt Hat Parade, Best Dressed competition, Chocolate Hunt and a host of surprises!

This attempt has officially been approved by the Guinness World Records and all attendees dressed up as a character from this much loved tale will be part of setting a new record. Picnics In The Park will be donating R5 for each person in costume to the Randburg, SPCA!

South Africa holds GWR’s records for the Most Vuvuzela’s Played Simultaneously which was over 12 000, Most Surfers Riding The Same Wave which was 110, Most Runners in an Ultra Marathon which was 14,343 and now we are attempting to add another record to the books.  This record has never been attempted anywhere in the world and for this attempt the organisers are hoping that at least 3000 crazy attendees will dress-up to make history and support this worthwhile local cause. To be a part of the Guinness World Record attempt you have to register and agree to the terms and conditions.
