Boiler Room x Ballantine's True Music returns to Cape Town in October 2019

Boiler Room x Ballantine’s True Music once again touches down in South Africa’s ‘Mother City’, closing off a 3-stop tour of the Rainbow Nations cultural hubs.

ABOUT THE EVENT:

We’ve linked up with local party-starters Crayons, who’ve been lighting up the local scene with their seminal Roots & Fruits parties, as well as many community initiatives, to take things in a different direction to our previous events. This event will entirely focus on new, up-and-coming talent: the future stars of CPT who will be given a platform to show the world exactly why they’re the names on everyone’s lips. We’ll also be nodding our caps to the DJs, promoters and engineers who have pushed things forward.

From the machine-gun flows of hotly-tipped rapper Dee Koala to the contemporary R’n’B sounds of Boskasie, through to groundbreaking newcomer Khanyo, we’ve got a string of live performances to blow the roof off. Alongside that, we’ve got DJ sets from Gqom production duo Surreal Sessions (who’ve produced for the likes of FAKA), Cape Town rap mainstay Kay Faith, and Alvhinator (founder of legendary night Uppercut)… to name but a few… and that’s without the special guests 😉

All this in a venue with panoramic views over the city. Don’t sleep on this one!

Rumoured to have the blue-prints for Krang's TechnoDrome, stolen straight from Dimension X, he’s the type of guy who exudes so much coolness that he adds whole countries on Facebook at one time instead of just people. Always up for a party and a Tequila shot or two this is the guy who we always call first, both before and after a night out…
