Boiler Room to Launch “Netflix-Like” Platform for the Underground.

Boiler Room is launching their latest streaming project, 4:3 – a Netflix like platform exploring themes of performance, identity, youth culture and anti-establishment.

The creators are calling it “as digital as it IRL” with parties, smoked-out film screenings, and exhibitions around the world. The online experience was soft launched on May 23rd which you can preview here and the official launch takes place on May 29.

To further celebrate the launch of 4:3, Boiler Room in partnership with the New York Public library will be hosting a week-long tribute to cult icon Arthur Russell. The exhibition will showcase unseen pieces from Russell’s personal archives for the first time as well as a sound installation by techno voyager Andy Stott.

And of course, in true Boiler Room style, the entire tribute will be broadcast live featuring Optimo’s JD Twitch and a screening of the cult film ‘Wild Combination’, all staged within a church!

For more information follow the Boiler Room fanpage, check out their website and find out more on 4:3‘s Swimming with Arthur Russel exhibition right here.
