Beast & Woodstock Mafia unplugged at Mercury

Woodstock Mafia really has been making an effort to get their music out there and they have been rewarded with tons of respect from their fans. They’ve been working on improving the entire experience of seeing them live with a brand new acoustic planned for this weekend-Saturday 22 September at Mercury. This is set to be an amazing musical experience, one that your gran will even dig (apparently).

Joined by Nikolai Atherios (Sabretooth) on keys, Luke Otto (a man of a gazillion projects) on cello and Sean Olsen (Tombstone Pete’s new partner in crime) on percussion, Woodstock Mafia will be revamped to near-orchestral proportions.

Joined by the Inge Beckman lead project, BEAST, and the astounding Glen Hartman, this is your opportunity to drink a glass of wine, sit back and relax and listen to an interesting take, or rather break down, on grunge rock – expect a little country, a little blues, some jazz and folk acoustic vibes. For those worried about the general rock vibe at Mercury, fret not, it will be transformed into a comforting environment with carpeting, pillows and cushions abound, chill-out nooks and private spaces, perfect to relax and enjoy the music. It’s the perfect second date, recurring date or something for those not too familiar with the local music scene.
