Barclays Premiership Weekend Roundup

What a great way to start this post and roundup….

LIVERPOOOOOOOOOOOOL! Out of repsect for my 2 legendary partner and brother that supports Chelsea, I will stop now… Bwwwaaaahahhahaa! Sure I will…

There you go, done now.

So what a weekend in the Premiership… A record amount of goals with something like 50 in total!

Lets start with Arsenal’s 4 goal lead taken by the down to a 4 all draw by the Gooners (aka white trash Joey Barton’s team).

Liverpool you beauties!!!! chelski, go spend another 70million pounds, you still gonna be shit!!

    1. JB knows a good thing and the worlds fairies shall bestow bevvies of beauties upon him! #FACT

      1. why thank you Stacky ๐Ÿ™‚ it shall rain the same upon you, so make sure you have a strong umbrella on hand.

PS I love the photo of the banner! all the pies for FAT FRANK! gotta love that ๐Ÿ˜€

  2. Touchรฉ to king Kenny, his tactics(although a tad negative) def won it for the scousers! And I can take losing 1 nil, it hurts but I’d still rather be a Chelsea fan than a whiney scouser! You all know torres will be great in the blue, you wish you had our money and as for the whole ‘history’ arguement… No club can ever have another clubs history that’s just silly! Live in the present my friends, although we lost, I’d still rather walk alone!

    1. HAHAHAHAHA! At least you can take being beaten, unlike my fellow MCBN’er Kreg. So for that James, I wont give you a hard time about the rest of your comment.

  3. @Kreg and James. you better pray Torres comes right, pray hard. 20months is a very very long time for a striker to lose his mojo. I, and a lot of others (not only ‘pool fans)think he’s done for. so, thanks for the 50mill ๐Ÿ˜€ Suarez and Carrol cost us a total of 2million.

the way to get Torres firing is with good balls to him, and every other team in the league saw how we throttled your midfield. and if thats the best midfield you guys have, well…

re: tactics. stones, glass houses, Mourinho etc

  4. @ jb umm throttled our midfield? From what I saw it was the 5 defenders you played that were effective in keeping our strikers under wraps, although lamps did have a shocker of a match, we still dominated possesion we just couldn’t find any holes in the last third, and for this I would thank king Kenny, like I said tactically he was spot on…

I still believe that the main reason for el ninos drop in form was the lack of quality he was surrounded by, gerrard aside who was feeding him any good balls at Liverpool. The ou is 26, is one of the best strikers in the world and is at Chelsea for the long run, not as a short term fix. We will still get the best out of him no doubt! And as for the 50mil… Roman will make that back in interest in the next week if I’m correct ๐Ÿ˜‰

I do think that suarez(although a poes) and Carrol are great signings. I’ll give you that…

    1. his royal arseness cashley didnt get one cross in. and bosingwa got just one cross in. the same players that completely nullified your wingbacks, our wingbacks, also spent way more time than what is normal in midfield and your half. so maybe it was a 3-4-2-1 formation. add to that all your good players are the wrong side of 30. what ya gonna do if you meet barca or real madrid in the CL? park the bus? you wont have any other choice, because both those side will run circles around your team.

I really do wish torres the best too, but chelski will have to buy a whole new midfield to accomodate him…

      1. o yes and the 3/5man backline, it was devised by a man called Steve Clarke. ever heard of him? seems he used to be the 1st team coach under a certain special one once upon a time at a certain london club….

  5. Jb I think barca would run cirlces around any team in the world at the moment, I reckon we would beat Real although Jose is always a sticky customer!

Please note I never critised liverpools tactics, infact I ackonwedged that we were outplayed on the day( if haven’t even brought up the penalty shouts we had), whatever the formation was it worked, but don’t expect us to get caught like that again! And Im not surprised clarkey was behind the tactics, he is a Chelsea man after all ๐Ÿ˜‰ I must also admit, it was a bit worrying that ancelotti couldn’t counter the tactics, he seemed a bit dazed and confused.

yes some of our key players are getting old but we are working on succesion plans… The spine of ur team ie. Gerrard and Carra aren’t exactly spring chickens!

    1. I reckon if we were in the Campions League we would come from 3 nil down in the final to win it… Oh wait, we already did that! hahahaha!
Damn Barca are beyond deadly! They won the world cup after all ๐Ÿ˜‰
