Apple opens iTunes Music Store in South Africa

The Apple iStore has opened in South Africa. This is great news for Apple lovers in our country. If  you don’t believe me, you can click THIS LINK: (here) and you’ll be able to download iTunes and shop till you drop! Apple has thrown open the doors to its iTunes music store in 56 new countries today. The list of countries includes Russia, Turkey, India and South Africa where customers can download DRM-free tracks from both major labels and local acts. The new iTunes makes it easier than ever to browse and organise your music collection, apps, podcasts, iTunes U lectures and more.

I have just spoken to a mate Luke who downloaded it and got straight into downloading ‘Heaven Is A Halfpipe’ for 7 bucks and said it was too easy. He went on to say: “R200 a year, but ALL your music stores in Apples “cloud” and you can listen to it anywhere on any device. It matches the songs you’ve already got to the ones in it’s library. (so you don’t need to actually purchase them).”

Thanks Luke!

Rumoured to have the blue-prints for Krang's TechnoDrome, stolen straight from Dimension X, he’s the type of guy who exudes so much coolness that he adds whole countries on Facebook at one time instead of just people. Always up for a party and a Tequila shot or two this is the guy who we always call first, both before and after a night out…
