This has got to be some of the craziest footage I’ve ever seen. During the course of normal day in the city of Kiev last Monday an old water pipeline that hadn’t been used in 37 years had some water pumped down it, causing it to explode and cause mass destruction in the surrounding areas after muddy water and rocks were hurled into the air.
One person wearing a cream coloured outfit is even seen walking nearby as the huge bulge of soil explodes into the air, destroying windows but incredibly leaving her unharmed. The explosion left six-square-metre hole in the ground, and investigators were called in once the water had been turned off to assess the damage and prepare a report. They are also supervising repair work.
Eyewitness Olexandr Gusev said:
“The burst pipe created a fountain that was seven stories high.”
Whoa… that’s pretty crazy stuff – incredible that nobody was hurt during the explosion.
