Wu-Tang Clan is back in the news again and this time the legendary rap group has been honoured by the New York City Council. Last week on May 4th the city renamed the streets of the Park Hill area – the very neighbourhood in Staten Island where the members of the group grew up – to ‘Wu-Tang Clan District.’ The council unanimously voted to name the area after the rap group “in honour of their contributions to the borough”.
A ceremony was where Wu-Tang’s Raekwon unveiled the sign, which you can see below.
