At MyCityByNight, we’re all for celebrating and the guys over at the Warehouse Movement have been creating some magical things down in Cape Town.

And on that note, they’re celebrating 1 year of existence with the announcement of RAVING GEORGE (Belgium). This is what they had to say:

IT’S THEIR BIRTHDAY and they’re back with a series of secret warehouse parties thrown in honour of you, the warehouse family! In their first year of existence they had the honour of working with renowned international artists like Soulclap, David August, NTFO, Mihai Popoviciu and The Mechanism on four amazing events.

They’ll start their second year of life in the same ground breaking fashion with the amazing RAVING GEORGE (Belgium) gracing the secret warehouse location along with an array of stellar supporting acts for our birthday festivities.

Warehouse is an event thrown by like-minded music lovers, for music lovers.

Join the movement.

RAVING GEORGE (Belgium)
This young DJ talent is only 21 years young, but has already been crowned the high priestess of Belgian dancehalls. She hypnotizes party people with her mesmerizing mix of techno related music and makes it impossible for any decent raver to stand still. She will take you by the hand into her domain of beats, synths and strange sounds and she won’t let you go until the very last note echoes from her decks.

Belgium loves Raving George and the memorable raves she’s thrown down at world renowned festivals including I love Techno, Tomorrowland, Pukkelpop, Laundry Day and Studio Brussels’ Switch.

The rest of Europe is starting to follow. In 2013, her concert in Foligno, Italy sold more than 3,000 tickets plus over 2,000 tickets for her set in Rome. She recently took Amsterdam by storm at ‘Amsterdam Open Air’, leaving behind a field of awestruck and somewhat lovestruck party people, lying exhausted on the dirty floor using their last breaths to scream for more.

And more is coming! Ignore all weather forecasts, because temperatures will certainly be rising to a boiling point in the near future. After releasing her first EP ‘Obverse’ on Crux Records and her second EP ‘Monodon Monoceros’ on UK based label Bad Life in 2013, she started 2014 by getting her own radio show on one of Belgium’s biggest radio stations: Studio Brussel. And a lot more is coming…

Rumoured to have the blue-prints for Krang's TechnoDrome, stolen straight from Dimension X, he’s the type of guy who exudes so much coolness that he adds whole countries on Facebook at one time instead of just people. Always up for a party and a Tequila shot or two this is the guy who we always call first, both before and after a night out…
