Now Open on Mondays!

Perfectly tucked in a corner on the ever-buzzing Kloof Street, the restaurant will now be open for business on Monday evenings, until the end of March 2020.

Stunning new Bar Area

The recently-launched outdoor bar is a complete winner. Situated in the shaded courtyard, under a leafy canopy, the bar lends itself perfectly to pre-dinner drinks, post-work tipples, or weekend catch-ups in a relaxed, yet vibey atmosphere. The bar menu features an array of curated cocktails along with an extensive range of delicious bar snacks.

Upcoming Collaborations 

Janse & Co will be hosting two collaboration dinners, the first one will be hosted on 18 November with Richard Carstens and the second dinner on 9 December with Lucas Carstens. Both events will be hosted at Janse & Co at a cost of R550 per person for 5 courses.

Richard Carstens Collaboration Dinner: Guests can expect a refreshing, forward-thinking, ingredient-driven unique 5-course dining experience created by Arno and Richard Carstens from Arkeste Restaurant in Franschhoek. 

Lucas Carstens Collaboration Dinner: Arno & Lucas worked together at Terroir restaurant back in 2007 just after both finished their tertiary education pursuits. Much like Arno, Lucas Carstens has an extremely simplistic approach to food, sourcing ingredients in an ethical manner which resonates with the entire Janse & Co approach and will form part of the expected theme for their collaborative dinner. 

At Janse & Co, the menu is meticulously sourced and completely ingredient-driven. Every dish uses 3-4 key seasonal ingredients with an abundance of fruits, vegetables and herbs, giving the meal a certain lightness. Combining the new and the traditional, with a simplistic and layered plating approach to match the flavour balance of each dish. The restaurant is an ideal option for those wanting a unique and authentic casual fine dining experience that combines beautiful surroundings, an innovative ingredient-led menu, and excellent service.
